Venom is a Jund commander built around sacrificing creatures for maximum value. Whenever Venom attacks, you may sacrifice another creature. If you do, you draw X cards, then you may put a permanent card with mana value X or less from your hand onto the battlefield, where X is the sacrificed creature’s mana value. That means every attack can turn one creature into a huge refill and a free threat, making disposable bodies, token makers, and high-value sacrifice fodder especially powerful. The card also has a back face, Venom, Lethal Protector, which keeps that same attack trigger and adds menace, trample, and haste, giving the deck an even more aggressive finish.
This deck is built around Jund sacrifice and value pressure: creatures you are happy to cash in, token support that keeps the engine fed, and permanents worth cheating onto the battlefield after a big sacrifice. EDHREC currently groups Venom, Eddie Brock mostly around +1/+1 counters, aristocrats, and some reanimator shells, which fits a strategy built on feeding the board into bigger momentum swings every turn.
