The Goose Mother is a Simic commander from Wilds of Eldraine built around the most deceptively powerful Food generation engine in the format. She enters the battlefield with a number of Food tokens equal to the mana spent on her X cost — and whenever she attacks, she creates a 1/1 blue and green Bird creature token for each two Food tokens you control, then you draw a card for each Bird token created that way. A well-funded entry creates enough Food to generate multiple Birds on the first attack, each Bird drawing a card, each card fueling the next turn's Food production.
The deck is built around maximizing the Food count before each attack trigger: additional Food generators that stack tokens beyond what The Goose Mother produces naturally, sacrifice and artifact synergies that squeeze value from every Food before converting it into Birds, and enough mana acceleration to cast The Goose Mother with the largest possible X value on the earliest possible turn. The goslings compound — more Food means more Birds means more cards means more Food. The honking escalates until the entire hand is full and the board is an unstoppable flock of card-drawing geese.
