Sauron, the Dark Lord is a Grixis commander from Tales of Middle-earth built around the most oppressive combination of the Ring mechanic and amass Orcs the format has ever seen. Whenever an opponent casts a spell during your turn, you amass Orcs two — growing the Orc Army token larger every time opponents try to interact with your turn. Whenever the Ring tempts you, if you already have a Ring-bearer, you draw a card and each opponent loses one life. The deck punishes interaction, rewards the Ring mechanic, and generates a massive Orc Army as a byproduct of opponents simply trying to play the game correctly.
The deck is built around maximizing both triggers simultaneously: spells that tempt with the Ring repeatedly in a single turn cycle, flash and instant-speed plays that bait opponents into responding during your turn and feeding the amass engine, and enough Grixis control tools to protect Sauron long enough for the Orc Army to grow past the point opponents can profitably block. The Dark Lord doesn't need to attack to win — he just needs opponents to keep casting spells during his turn until the Army is too large to stop.
