Saskia the Unyielding is a four-color (WBRG) commander from Commander 2016 built around the most efficient damage multiplication effect in the format. When Saskia enters the battlefield you choose an opponent — and whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player, it deals that much damage to the chosen player as well. Every attack that hits any opponent also hits the designated target. A 5/5 swinging into one player deals five damage to that player and five to Saskia's chosen target simultaneously, effectively doubling every point of combat damage produced by the entire attacking team against a single opponent every single turn.

The deck is built around maximizing combat damage output across the widest possible attacking board: aggressive creatures that deal large amounts of combat damage efficiently, double strike and trample enablers that amplify the Saskia trigger to devastating effect, and enough haste and evasion to guarantee the attack connects at full power every single combat step. The chosen opponent faces a clock that runs twice as fast as any other player at the table — and rotating the choice after eliminating the first target means the unyielding pressure never stops redirecting to whoever is closest to zero.
