Roxanne, Starfall Savant is a Gruul commander from Wilds of Eldraine built around Meteor tokens — a unique artifact that enters tapped and, when it untaps, deals two damage to each opponent and taps for two colorless mana before being sacrificed. Whenever Roxanne attacks, she creates one of these Meteors for each Mountain you control. A fully developed mana base of five Mountains produces five Meteors on the attack trigger — ten damage to each opponent spread across the following untap step, plus ten colorless mana to cast whatever devastating spell the situation demands.
The deck is built to maximize Mountain count and accelerate the damage clock: land ramp that fetches Mountains specifically, effects that copy or proliferate the Meteor triggers, and a top-end Gruul spell package funded entirely by the free mana Meteors generate before they detonate. Opponents who don't close the game fast find the sky filling with rocks that deal damage and generate mana in the same upkeep — a combination that becomes completely unmanageable the moment the land count tips past five.
