Jalira, Master Polymorphist is a mono-blue commander from Magic 2015 built around the most efficient creature cheating engine the color has ever had access to. For two mana she sacrifices a creature you control and reveals cards from the top of your library until hitting a nonlegendary creature — which enters the battlefield directly for free. Sacrifice a disposable 1/1 token and replace it with the most devastating nonlegendary creature in the deck. The mana investment is fixed regardless of what comes out. The payoff scales with how broken the top of the curve is.
The deck is built around two axes: generating a constant supply of sacrifice fodder and stacking the creature package with the most impactful nonlegendary threats available. Cheap token generators that produce expendable bodies every turn, a curated nonlegendary creature suite of Eldrazi and bombs worth cheating into play for two mana, and enough library manipulation to increase the probability of hitting the best possible polymorph target every single activation. Opponents answering the creatures find Jalira already generating the next token to sacrifice. The polymorphist never runs out of material — only targets worth turning into something catastrophic.
