Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, you gain one life. Whenever another creature you control dies, each opponent loses one life. Two separate triggers firing from the same creatures — every creature cast gains life on entry and drains on death, converting the entire lifecycle of every creature in the deck into a guaranteed resource swing in your favor from the moment it resolves until the moment it leaves.
The deck is built around maximizing the number of creatures entering and dying every single turn: cheap sacrifice fodder that enters and dies repeatedly, aristocrats payoffs that amplify the drain beyond Elas's baseline one life per death, and enough recursion to ensure the best creatures cycle through entry and death triggers multiple times per game. The math compounds quietly — one life gained here, one life lost there — until the gap between your life total and every opponent's becomes too large to close through conventional damage.
