Clavileño, First of the Blessed is a mono-black Vampire tribal commander from The Lost Caverns of Ixalan built around the most elegant death-into-ascension engine the tribe has ever had. Whenever a non-token Vampire you control dies, you draw a card and create a 4/3 black Vampire Demon creature token with flying. Losing a Vampire isn't a setback — it's a promotion. The token that replaces it is bigger, flies, and hits harder than almost anything the original could have done on the ground.
The deck is built around accelerating that conversion engine: cheap Vampires that die easily and replace themselves with flying demons, sacrifice outlets that trigger Clavileño on demand rather than waiting for opponents to do the work, and enough tribal support to keep the blood flowing every turn. The board starts humble and ends with a sky full of 4/3 flyers that materialized entirely from creatures opponents thought they were safely removing.
