Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos is an Esper commander from March of the Machine built around Phyrexian token generation and incubate — one of the most explosive token payoff mechanics in recent sets. Whenever Brimaz or another nontoken creature you control dies, you incubate X where X is that creature's mana value, creating an Incubator token that transforms into a 0/0 Phyrexian artifact creature with X +1/+1 counters. Every creature that dies leaves behind a potentially enormous Phyrexian replacement that grows in power proportional to whatever was sacrificed to create it.
The deck is built around feeding the incubate engine with high-mana-value creatures worth replacing: sacrifice outlets that convert expensive creatures into massive Phyrexian tokens on demand, proliferate effects that stack additional counters onto every Incubator before it transforms, and enough recursion to cycle the best creatures through death repeatedly. The blight spreads one death at a time — and every death makes the next Phyrexian bigger than the last.
