Whenever you discard a card, Ashling gets a +1/+1 counter — and with enough counters stacked, her activated ability converts that accumulated power directly into damage aimed wherever it hurts most. Every loot effect, every wheel, every discard outlet makes her bigger. Every point of size becomes a damage threat that scales past the point opponents can absorb.

The deck is built to maximize the discard-to-counter pipeline: cheap looting cantrips that filter your hand while growing Ashling every activation, wheel effects that simultaneously refuel your hand and dump counters onto her in a single explosive turn, and enough haste and protection to ensure the activated damage ability fires before opponents can find an answer to a creature that has grown completely out of range.
