The deck is built around maximizing land sacrifice without compromising the mana base: landfall effects that generate value before the land goes to the graveyard, land recursion that pulls sacrificed lands back from the graveyard to be sacrificed again, and enough cheap saddling creatures to ensure The Gitrog connects fully equipped every single combat step.
