Minsc & Boo function as a planeswalker commander that creates a 1/1 Boo token, pumps Boo to an enormous size, and converts that power into card draw and direct damage. The plus ability makes Boo bigger and draws cards. The minus converts Boo's power directly into damage aimed at any target. The engine is self-sustaining — pump, swing, draw, damage — and the Gruul supporting cast ensures Boo is never the only threat on the board when the table finally decides enough is enough.
