Lathril, Blade of the Elves is the definitive Golgari Elf tribal commander from Kaldheim. She has menace and generates a 1/1 Elf token for each point of combat damage she deals — meaning a single unblocked swing with ten Elves watching creates ten more Elves. Then her activated ability taps ten Elves to drain each opponent for ten life while you gain ten simultaneously. One combat step into one activated ability and the game is effectively over.
The deck is a full Elf tribal engine: mana dorks that ramp into Lathril ahead of schedule, lords that pump the entire board to maximize her combat damage trigger, and enough evasion and haste enablers to guarantee she connects the turn she lands. The Elf army feeds itself — every token Lathril creates becomes fuel for the drain activation, every drain activation creates more pressure, and opponents trying to contain the board find the forest simply sends more.
