Felix is a Sultai commander built around saboteur triggers, evasive attackers, and explosive combat value. Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player, if triggering that ability of a permanent you control would normally happen because of that damage, it triggers an additional time instead. That means cards that draw, steal, drain, make tokens, or generate value on combat damage get dramatically stronger the moment Felix is on the battlefield. Scryfall’s rulings also clarify that Felix only affects abilities that trigger specifically from damage being dealt, not abilities that trigger from the results of that damage.
This deck is built around Sultai combat-trigger synergy: evasive creatures that connect reliably, saboteur payoffs that become much stronger when they trigger twice, and support cards that help keep pressure on while your board keeps generating value. EDHREC currently groups Felix most strongly with Ninjutsu, Wheels, Equipment, and Aggro, which fits a strategy built on getting through in combat and making every successful hit snowball harder than opponents expect.
