This custom Commander deck captures that duality: a disciplined combat shell layered with spell interaction that turns opponents' own magic against them while Celes advances her own agenda unimpeded.
The strategy mirrors her fighting style: precise, adaptive, and deceptively powerful. Early turns establish board presence and mana development. Mid-game the Runic ability kicks in — countering or absorbing spells that opponents rely on while Celes grows stronger from the interaction. Late game the accumulated advantage converts into a closing threat that opponents spent their best resources trying to prevent and couldn't.
