Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos is a commander from the Assassin's Creed Universes Beyond set built around the most ruthless removal-to-reward pipeline the format has produced from a legendary creature. Whenever a creature an opponent controls dies, if it died this turn from a spell or ability you controlled, you draw a card — converting every piece of removal you cast into a replacement card that keeps the hand loaded while the board gets cleared. The more efficiently you answer threats, the more resources you generate from answering them.
The deck is built around dense interaction that triggers Alexios's draw ability as consistently as possible: cheap targeted removal that picks off the most dangerous creature each turn and draws immediately, sacrifice effects that force opponents to feed their own creatures into the draw engine on your terms, and enough board presence to close the game once the hand advantage generated from repeated removal draws becomes insurmountable. The Deimos of Kosmos doesn't need to build a board from scratch — he just needs opponents to have creatures worth removing and enough removal to keep the cards flowing until nothing threatening remains.
